Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, located at the EPCOT theme park, offers a Disney Princess Storybook Dining Experience inside a medieval castle-themed restaurant, joined by the Disney Princesses and friends who visit diners at their tables to share a smile, give autographs and pose for pictures. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is located in the Norway Pavilion within the EPCOT's World Showcase and offers American cuisine for breakfast and authentic Norwegian cuisine for lunch and dinner. Begin your day with a breakfast of American favourites served family-style. For lunch and dinner, be adventurous and experience the 'taste of Norway' with an impressive Norwegian buffet of cold dishes and hotentrees available a la carte. Selections include sauteed chicken breast, mustard-glazed salmon, vegetable-stuffed pasta, a Scandinavian speciality meatball dish made of pork, beef and capers (called kjottkaker) and a variety of salads, sliced meats and cheeses. Children's menu includes favourites such as pizza, hot dogs, pasta and grilled chicken. For a sweet fairytale ending to your meal, share tasty treats from the dessert sampler. The food was very tasty, really like the family style serving, and you could have as much as you liked which was great as the potato rosti thing was yum.
Servers we great just the right amount attention and didn't feel rushed. With the added bonus of the free pictures which was lovely as didn't realise you got this.
