Bahama Bay Resort is situated on the banks of Lake Davenport. With its Caribbean style buildings laid out over 70-acre spread of well maintained gardens, lawns, lagoons and fountains - it is a truly beautiful and relaxing place to stay.

Bahama Bay is a secure gated resort which offers excellent facilities, including 4 heated outdoor pool areas, 6 spa pools, Kiddies splash-pool & play area plus a tennis & basketball court, lakeside sandy beach, volleyball area and fishing dock. The Nature Trails weave their way through the landscaped gardens, around the ponds and down to the lake – it is a nice and gentle way to explore this beautiful resort.

The Resort offers accommodation decorated in a Caribbean style, with all the amenities needed to make guests feel that they have a home from home. Each condo has either two or three large bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en-suite), a lounge and dining area with cable TV, DVD player and hi-fi system, a fully equipped kitchen with snack bar plus a laundry/utilities closet. Free Wireless Internet connection is available in the apartments. There is plenty of parking at the front of the buildings and each condo has private patio/balcony areas with views across the resort.


The welcoming Clubhouse is the heart of the Bahama Bay Resort Complex. The Reception is covered 24 hours a day, so there will always someone on hand to assist you.

Overlooking the Clubhouse pool and hot-tubs, Mambo’s Bar & Grille is open from mid-morning until late evening. Enjoy the homemade pizzas, burgers and snacks whilst lounging poolside on a beautiful sunny day. Friendly and relaxed service along with great food, makes this outdoor grill a great lunch spot for lazy days by the pool.

There is a kiddies splash-pool and play area, located just next to the Clubhouse, has a climbing frame with bark floor covering and a shallow pool with mushroom water fall and shower jet. There are tables and chairs plus a shaded cabana seating section – the whole area is fenced with magnetic lock gates for child safety.


The Tradewinds Restaurant and Bar is located lakeside offering guests views over the beautiful Lake Davenport. Open daily for food and drinks, Tradewinds Restaurant offers an indoor and outdoor, delicious family friendly menu. There are two bar areas, one inside the restaurant and Margaritas Bar outside, providing service to anyone lazing by the pool or on the man-made sandy beach. For those who want a spot of fun out of the sun, the pool tables are hit with the guests.

The man-made sandy beach is located right on the lake’s edge, with plenty of double cabana-style sun beds and fixed palm umbrellas for shade. There is a small volleyball area off to one side, far enough away as not to disturb those relaxing in the sun.

A fishing dock and jetty stretches out into Lake Davenport, where you can spend some time watching the local wildlife or trying to catching the local varieties of sunfish that are found in the lake.


The Bahama Bay Resort can be found just off US-27, close the intersection of the US-192. There is a direct road from the Resort the back to the US-192, which is a nicer road to use. It is ideally located for all the major Orlando attractions, shopping and restaurants, yet secluded enough to provide peaceful place to stay.

It’s easily accessible from either Orlando International Airport (MCO), Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFA) or Tampa International Airport (TPA). Travel times from each Airport to Bahama Bay Resort are approx 45 mins, 65 mins or 75 mins respectively on good roads.
