The Chaparral Theatre is a roofed open air venue which offers high-energy seasonal character shows based on recent Disney movies.

The Tarzan Encounter (2012)

Join Tarzan and friends in a wonderful cirque-du-soleil style show.

Watch the characters as they dance, sing and perform some amazing gymnastics on the stage in front of you.

The story unfolds as baby Tarzan is brought up by gorillas after his parents are both killed. The peaceful life is soon interrupted by human explorers as they invade the jungle. Jane is accidentally separated from the group and is chased by a pack of baboons.

Tarzan saves Jane from the baboons and recognises that Jane is the same as he, a human.

Together they perform fantastic stunts with the use of props and ropes, swinging through the trees and the set easily.

The cast members encourage the audience to participate with clapping and singing. They pick out some of the young children from the crowd and bring them to the front of the stage to help play instruments alongside the characters.

The show last for approximately half an hour.

A show well worth seeing!
