The recently renovated Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista is located just 5 minutes from Downtown Disney and is a Walt Disney World Good Neighbour Hotel!
Guest rooms includes a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, electronic safe, and cable television with in-room movies. All rooms have brand new amazingly comfortable pillow-top mattresses, soft sheets and blankets, and plush bath towels and complimentary WiFi.
The Clarion Inn is in a great location for Disney World, Premium Outlets (LBV), Crossroads (TGI Friday etc). Palm Parkway (which the hotel is located on) is great for avoiding the I4 when driving to Universal, Florida Mall etc. There is a free scheduled shuttle transportation to Disney World theme parks, Universal, and SeaWorld!

We emailed the front desk a couple of weeks in advance to request upper floor, car park view rooms, and on check in they confirmed our requests. We were given adjacent rooms on the top floor facing the car park, just as we asked for. I would definitely recommend requesting car park view rooms, as the I4 on the pool side of the hotel would be a bit noisy at night.
The rooms are spacious enough, the bathroom was small but functional, the bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Housekeeping made the bed, replaced the towels etc., but didn't hoover the carpet.
The only issue we really had were ants in our room, I called front desk and they sent a maintenance person with an ant spray which he advised couldn't be sprayed with people in the room and all he could do was wipe the areas with it. We requested another room instead, while we were packing up our things, a staff member organised the change of room and brought the new keys up to us. So there was an issue with the ants, but the hotel sorted it out very quickly!
The free continental breakfast is limited, but good for something small to start the day, consisting of apple or orange juice, choice of two cereals, milk, toast, butter and some jams.

Would stay again at that great price :-)
