Being less than 3 miles from Walt Disney’s Animal Kingdom Indian Creek is close enough to return from the parks for lunch and an afternoon swim before returning for the nightime entertainment.   The shops, restaurants and crazy golf at the Formosa Gardens Shopping Plaza are situated just over a mile away and the Rolling Oaks shopping centre is just a mile further west on h/w 192.   Indian Creek benefits from 2 well stocked lakes for those interested in fishing, tennis courts, 2 children’s playgrounds, a jogging track and adult exercise equipment. Firstly it is extremely well situated, 1 mile off the 192 from the Formosa gardens boulevard, dozens of eateries are within 5 minutes drive as well as Super Target, Publix and Winn Dixie. It is also possible to reach Animal Kingdom in 5 minutes using the Sherbeth Road cut through. This means that all Disney parks are reachable in 15-20 minutes, traffic permitting.
The community itself is very quiet and gets quieter if you stay in the second part, over the bridge. There are some communal facilities ie Basketball/Tennis and childs play areas but these are not extensive.
