See the world through a bug's eyes as you peek into the hilarious and dazzling 3-D world of amazing and amusing insects as they astound you in this one-of-a-kind stage show.

Based on the Disney-Pixar film A Bug's Life, It's Tough to be a Bug! is an an 8-minute 3D movie and multimedia show, fun for big kids, teens and adults, and performed in an air-conditioned, 430-seat movie theater embedded in the enormous root structure of the Tree Of Life in the center of Animal Kingdom theme park. The only thing that will "bug" you is if you miss it!

Using lighting, 3-D filming techniques, audio-animatronics and various special effects, the show gives the audience an idea of what it would be like to be an insect. Flik, everybody's favourite ant, hosts the show and educates the viewer on why bugs shouldn't be seen as pests, but more as friends. The supporting cast consists of cute and creepy crawlers like spiders, termites, beetles, weevils and butterflies.

You will receive a special pair of 3D "bug" glasses to wear while you view the show.

There are scenes that may frighten children

The queue area winds its way around the Tree of Life and within its roots. Whilst queuing make sure you take your time to look around you, there are lots of carvings to discover. Also take time to look up at the Tree of Life itself; again, you will discover many new carvings.
