Jiko The Cooking Place Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom lodge is located on the ground floor of the hotel near the resort pool area and facing the resorts other restaurant Boma.

Jiko is a table service restaurant serving dinner from 5-30pm to 10pm. Where African cuisine is the order of the day and the whole African theme strikes you as you enter the restaurant the sight of the wood burning stoves and the decor make this restaurant unique and captures the whole heritage of Africa, and you can see the chefs preparing the food in the show kitchen and can smell the wonderful aromas as they cook the delicious offerings.

The Jiko restaurant boasts one of the largest selection of South African wines in North America and has won multiple awards.

The menu caters for all tastes and features culinary classics with an African flair they do have a children’s menu and separate vegetarian and vegan menu's.
