Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP)

Disney host a special ticket only party in the Magic Kingdom during October on selected nights. Designed for the whole family, guests are invited to dress in costumes for 'Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party' and 'trick or treat' through the park from 7 p.m. to midnight. There are extra fun and games all with a Halloween theme, there is even two special (Boo to You) halloween parades and fireworks.

No. All you need is the MNSSHP Ticket, but you will not be able to enter the park until around 5pm

Mickey Mouse and his Disney character friends will be dressing up in Halloween costumes and decorating the Magic Kingdom with all sorts of special Halloween decorations. Best of all you can purchase tickets to attend this very special party.

Wearing Costumes

Guests, especially children, are invited to wear costumes. However, guests are asked to choose costumes that are not obstructive to the child's view or that may be offensive to other park guests.

The tickets states. “Halloween costumes should NOT:

• Obstruct the guest’s view or interfere with their ability to board/unload from attractions and/or the the Walt Disney World Resort transportation system (including monorails, ferry boats, and motorcoaches).
• Drag on the ground.
• Contain sharp or pointed objects or material that may accidentally strike another guest.
• Be offensive to other guests.
• Contain any weapons which resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.”

Make your own Hitchhiking Ghosts with Disney.

Just in time for Halloween, Disney has created a template that allows you to make your own characters from Magic Kingdom’s Haunted Mansion attraction. The Hitchhiking Ghosts’ can be made by printing a special template and adding just a few well-placed folds, cuts and pieces of tape. The completed paper Hitchhiking Ghosts’ heads seem to turn with their eyes, just like the ones on the attraction, following the camera as it moves left and right.
