Spice Road Table

The brand new Spice Road Table has just opened it's doors to the general public. It is located alongside the waterfront of the Lagoon in the Moroccan Pavilion at the Epcot World Showcase. It is open daily for Lunch and Dinner.

This new restaurant has been fantastically themed, allowing you to immerse yourself with the colourful sights and smells that authentic Morocco brings. The front of the building has been designed with a collection of shops similar to what you would find in a traditional Market Place or Souk. Moroccan music playing also adds to the ambience creating an authentic atmosphere.

As you enter the Restaurant you find yourself in the elegant plush Bar Lobby Area, it is worth noting that seating is not available at the bar, so this is more of a waiting area for guests. To the right of the Lobby is the Indoor Dining Room and to the left is the covered Outdoor Patio.

The restaurant is adorned with typical Moroccan flourishes of tapestries and artwork, Agra Lanterns and colourful yet decorative mosaic tiles. Booths are provided for indoor seating and a large outdoor terrace offers dining Al Fresco with fantastic views overlooking the Lagoon, a great vantage point for viewing the 'Illuminations : Reflections of the Earth Show', whilst sipping a Speciality Cocktail.


The menu offers Small Plates of Mediterranean Style Tapas, allowing you to savour an array of authentic Moroccan dishes. You can either select a few plates for yourself, or better still share several between you.

The 'Small Plates' feature dishes of Fresh Tuna Salad, Spicy Garlic Shrimp, Moroccan Lamb Sausage, Fried Calamari, Brie Fondue, Hummus & Imported Olives, Rice Stuffed Grape Leaves, Fresh Fish Croquettesl, Corkscrew Shrimp or Hummus Fries.


A recent addition to the menu are 'Mediterranean Speciality Entrees', serving Mix Grill Skewers, Roasted Chicken, Lamb Sliders, Yellow Fin Tuna, Coriander Crusted Rack of Lamb and a Mediterranean Vegetable Platter.

There is also the option of a Chef's Special Tapas Platter, there's the 'Mogador Sampler' with Mussels Tagine, Salted Cod Croquettes and Fried Calamari or try the 'Tingis Sampler' of Lamb Slider, Harissa Chicken Roll and Merguez Sausage.

Three Desserts are available, choose from delights of Saffron and Lemon Custard, a Chocolate Pyramid with Almond Ice Cream or assorted Baklava.

To compliment your meal, why not try a 'Spice Road Aperitif Flight' consisting of Hildago Sherry, Quite De La Rosa Port and Lillet, a drink made with wonderful flavours of honey, orange, lime and mint, served either chilled or over ice. There is also a range of Signature Cocktails to choose from.

Outside you will also find a 'Juice Bar' offering a choice of hot and cold beverages. The standard Beers, Wine, Sangria, Soda's and Water as well as Tea, Coffee and Hot Chocolate are available.

You could also try the Alcoholic 'Refreshing Oasis Slushies', like the Sultan's Colada, Moroccarita or the Habibi Daiquiri made with Rum, Strawberry and Orange Blossom Water. For those who want something different but non-alcoholic, then choose from the Royal Blue with blue raspberry, the Desert Rose with pink lemonade or the Tangerine delight made with tangerine juice.

The bar also offers a few Desserts and Flavoured Ice Cream, choose from Green Tea, Pistachio and Orange Blossom Water, Chocolate and Cinnamon, Toasted Almond and Rosewater or Strawberry and Red Bean.
