Teppan Edo is located on the upper floor of the Mitsukoshi building in the Japan Pavillion at Epcot. We had to leave our stroller outside under the stairs which was a bit annoying as our Daughter had just fallen asleep.

Upon entering the restaurant we were given a pager and were asked to wait in the seating area which was really busy. We had a reservation but still waited for about 20 minutes.

We were eventually shown to our table in a little room. The server didn?t stop smiling and she bowed at the end of almost every sentence! They were all so happy and friendly! The tables seat 9 and as we were a party of 6, another family joined our table.

Our server bought out some drinks, took our food order and came back and tied our chop sticks together which was most welcome since we can't use them!

Then our chef came out who was the most enthusiastic, smiley person I?ve ever met! He was literally beaming! He set about preparing our food, giving us little dishes of a variety of sauces to go with the different meats and shrimp we had ordered. I ordered the Ebi, my Dad had the Kajiki Maguro, my Mum had the Ueno, my Sister had the Tori and DS ordered a child Tori.

The meal was really nice but there wasn?t much of it to be honest and for what we got I thought it was really over-priced. For the 5 meals, 2 cokes, 3 orange juices and an ice cream it came to $170 with tax and tip. It was a great experience though and I do recommend it. I just don?t think we would go again if there was a large group of us because of the 18% gratuity which adds to the cost!

We ate here in August 2010 and was one of our favourite meals. We had a table with an American family of 5 who were lovely. I was on a low fat diet and they went through the menu with me and I was fine for the main meal but was funny when they brought me my dessert and it was a sliced orange. I didn't mind as I was full anyway. Absolutely loved it here and would definitely dine here again.

We visited here for the first time in Oct 2011. We were a party of 8 so had a table to ourselves. We had an early lunch ADR and were seated promptly. The food while good was not memorable but what made the meal was the "show" that was put on whilst preparing the food. Our chef was very amusing both with what he said and did (even though he actually said very little!) In our party were 2 kids in their early teens and 2 ten yr olds who all loved it. Our eldest had the filet mignon (we were on the dining plan!) and still talks about it. I fear it has given him expensive taste in steak! I would definitely recommend.

We ate here May 2011 and it was one of our best experiences of eating at disney. The staff were very cheerful and nothing was to much trouble. Watching our food being cooked on the hot plate in front of us was amazing and it kept our 7 year old entertained. Even though we were sat on a table with a family of 4 who we didn't know, we were all soon chatting away and we all had a brilliant time. Our son still treasures the chefs hat that he was given there. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I ate here with my DH in October 2011 and it was one of the highlights of the trip.

Our dining companions weren't too friendly which was a shame, but didn't spoil the meal. We both opted for the chicken/steak combo and it was cooked to perfection, the rice and vegetables were really good and the sauces were very flavourful.

We both opted for the ginger cake which was light and moist.

The chef was great fun and we can't wait to go back!

Another one of my favourite restaurants and one I shall be adding to my trip this September.

The Teppan grills sit up to 8 people, so unless you are a party of 8, be prepared to share your meal with others. On the two meals I have had, we have had nice eating companions.
