We go to Old Town every visit, especially for the Saturday Nite Cruise. Even had a Dibb mini meet there last year with Dollar Bill and his wife Jools.

Gave the Thursday Bikers Nite a go this year, hundreds of bikes there and a great atmosphere.

Suzie and our 4 DDs also love going to Old Town as its a good State Fair atmosphere [been to one of those at Brevard County as well], and is a nice change from the fantasyland that is Disney.

It does make a nice change from disney etc.
There's plenty there to keep you entertained too!

And they do cherry vodka and pink lemonade! Yummy!!

DW and i went to Old town. I remember it well because a huge dragon fly fell in love with the dw. She spent ten mins running around a shop store like a banshee possesed. But i like old town.

DH and my two DSs trid the Sky coaster last summer and thought it was fantastic - they then tried G Force and enjoyed that too.
The Saturday Night Cruise was also good but we did feel a little left out as we often join a cruise at home in our car and the hire car was a bit different to what we normaly drive.

Hi can you tell me more about the G Force ride? I have seen details of it on the internet and my DBF wants to give this a go as he is racing mad!!!! How fast does it go and do you have to steer it yourself or is it on like a track or something?

Thanks

We like Old town too especially on the cruise nights and I love the candle shop. On park free nights after dinner we tend to go to either old town or celberations for a little stroll so we dont just go back to the hotel and fall asleep!

G Force is claimed to be the worlds fastest ride, cars catupult you along a track from 0-114mph in 1.9 seconds!
It's run on compressed air, you're strapped in with full race harness to immitation drag cars with steering wheel and accelerator, all you have to do is watch the lights as in a real drag racing start sequence and when the lights go green you floor it as quick as you can, the computer then measures your reaction time, and you get a print out once you've been shot down the track!
You can race on your own (one or 2 per car) or against a second car!
It's about $30 but you can get special offers, like 2 goes for $40 or something like that! It is expensive, but it is the most amazing ride ever!

Here's a link to a video of it!
