Can anyone tell me what is the cheapest way to get tickets for my parents. They are probably coming with us next year but wont go on many rides (except the sedate ones), we have annual passes to WDW and they would like to come some days with us but due to my dads bad knees he struggles with the walking, Also Busch and IOA US we were thinking of...they are both over 55 does this make a difference????Ta in advance:grin:

Last time my parents went to Universal I am sure they got a reduced price ticket available for OAP's and Disabled

Not sure about other parks someone will probably help us out better

My parents and father in law have both visted WDW with us, my mother tackled Rock n Roller coaster and shes 72. They both walk a lot at home so they never struggled with that side of it but I think the August crowds took their toll and they elected to spend the odd day at the villa.

We took the view that given the variation in price it was better to pay the extra and ave the option of them doing the parks everday if they wanted.

Lat summer my father in law came with us and he enjoyed his trip to Busch Gardens although he didnt ride any coasters, he did visit the hospitality hall though.

On a previous trip my mother had to be hooked out at River Country after misjudging her decent on a water slide.

That conjured up an amusing picture:d:
When we went with our mothers, my Mum was 69, we bought the tickets in advance and do not think got any discounts. Having said that, despite having a bad hip (had a replacement 2 years after) she kept up with us all very well and went on just about everything, including the Rock and Roller Coaster - just the once though:d: . So she definitely got her money's worth. I hope I am as fit at her age:thumbs-up

Most of the parks do Senior Rates - Seaworld from aged 50 ! ! !

Get them to take their pension card as proof and enjoy discount rates in most restaurants too.
