In response to my earlier thread, can you buy tickets for the Clearwater excursions over there? I know TravelCity Direct have an office at Lake Buena Vista Shopping Mall and there is a Walmart vacation office in the store in Kissimmee - do these outlets offer excursion tickets?

I'm sure a place where we have bought tickets in the past did, although I cant remember the name of the place although it is on the same road as LBV mall and near the new walmart I think.
You can just turn up in Clearwater and buy tickets for all the fishing/dolphin excursion boats from the dock. They are all lined up along the marina and have little sales huts to buy tickets from, with all the info, times and prices detailed on boards outside. You can also book the Seascreamer and Pirates cruise in this way.
I would definately recommend the Dolphin excursion - we have done this twice and spotted Dolphins on both trips.

We always buy them from the dock - then we can see which one is not as full as the others. Sometimes the Screamer is so full you are all squashed up so then an ideal time to go on the Little Toot - which is my favourite anyway.

thanks guys! How easy is it get to Clearwater docks and the beach from the I4? Last time we did it from Kissimmee and we got hopelessly lost as we approached Tampa! How is car parking down there as well - is it beachside car parking?

There is a good car park just opposite the dock and next to the beach - costs about $5 for a few hours.
If you go straight down I4 and follow the signs for Clearwater it is fairly straight forward.
Might be worthwhile printing out a route from one of the route finder websites before you go - We used to do this before the days of sat nav!

We are doing a day at Clearwater and have been saying we are going to try for the SeaScreamer - didn't realise that there are other options - never heard of "Little Toot" for e.g!
Anyone got any more info, please?
Thanx

Jean - that looks really good - wasn't sure how Mil would handle a speed boat, but I think she might go for this one - Thank You:D

Sue - she really would love it - it never seems to get crowded at that time of year and they really do concentrate on finding dolphins rather than the thrill of the speed ride.
We did another another one a few years ago called the dolphin encounter trip but this one stopped to feed loads of big birds - again not concentrating on dolphins. As I love dolphins with a passion the Little Toot is by far the best for me.

Think it is about an hour to hour and half- All the trips stay out about the same amount of time - it just flies by though and feels like you have only just gone.
