;) Hi there - can anyone give me advice on taking a 14 month old to WDW. Will he be allowed on any of the attractions, e.g. Dumbo etc. Booked to go in August and can't wait. Thanks a lot!

He'll be allowed on most of the attractions, except the ones that have a minimum height restriction, of course.

We took DS last year to Florida in August when he was 16 weeks old (booked the holiday before I knew I was pregnant!) he did some things e.g. watched the parades, some of the shows (playhouse disney) and a couple of other things.

We took him to Disneyland Paris in January and again at Easter for his first birthday, we could not believe the difference he did almost everything his four year brother did, dumbo, Aladdin Flying Carpets, Peter Pan pretty much everything apart from the rides with the height restrictions.

He also went on Pirates of the Caribbean and loved it, even though his big brother was too scared to go on!!

We are also going to Florida in August and we are playing on him going on pretty much everything.

My 2 year old has been 3 times now (how bad does that sound.....)
There is a huge amount they can go on - virtually everything at MK, barring the Mountains, and plenty in the other parks too - she had a really good time and was less scared than the 8 year old.

Check out the 'chukka bubba relay' techinique for multiple rides on Dumbo and also 'baby switch off' so the adults can get their thrill rides in!

Enjoy - and welcome to the Dibb!

There is loads for under 2s to do, especially in fantasyland. There is a wonderful atmosphere for the little ones to soak up, not forgetting all the first glimpses of their favourite characters! It is a memory you'll never forget and if the little ones do, you'll have plenty of photographs to remind them! Like someone else has mentioned, take advantage of the parent swap if you want to do the bigger rides.
Have a fab time!;)
