its mine, my mums and my dads birthdays whilst we're away (believe it or not!!!) and we've heard a lot about the birthday badges you can get from wdw. does anyone know if you can get them in all of the parks or only mk? and if so, where do I ask for them?
thanks

and does it actually have to be on the actual date.
it's my ds's on the 16th and we arrive in orlando on the 13th. my dd's birthday is the 10th just before we fly. it's also my mum's 60th the couple of weeks after we get home. we thought we could have multiple birthday badges.
is that allowed?

I got one from Epcot - it's about 3 inches by 2 inches and says Happy Birthday in big writing with a mickey head anf a graphic of Spaceship earth.
Cast members and visitors wish you a happy birthday if they notice it.
They are free and from any guest realtions desk in any park.
No, it doesn't have to be your exact birthday for them to give you one (no ID checks or anything) and I guess you wouldn't be alone in wearing one on the wrong day. I just wore one on my 40th and it was lovely having so many people wishing me a happy day.
its just a big badge and i cannot remember what it said
it didnt put the date on

AFAIK parks only. But you could always ask at the concierge desk.

I have been led to believe that you can get the badges from Guest Services at DTD as well. I hope so as it is my birthday the day we arrive in Orlando and DTD will be the only place worth going by the time we get there and I really wanted to get a badge on my actual birthday.

We got a birthday pin (badge) from guest services at DTD no problem last year.

All the parks, including Downtown Disney give Birthday badges, they are all different, and wearing one will invite any CM to wish you a very happy Birthday!
They also give badges for wedding anniversarys. When we had ours on in innovations in Epcot the CM took us to a phone & dialled Micky to sing happy anniversary to us - very cool!
Does anyone know if you can get free "just married" badges from guest services also?

It's my birthday and wedding anniversary on the same day so we can both have badges! Won't DH be thrilled!;) :pgig:
