As we are due to go back again at Easter I can start planning again :tiggerbou :tiggerbou :tiggerbou We really enjoyed the Rose and Crown at Epcot but felt let down by the Sci Fi diner at MGM. Loved Olive Garden and Red lobster out of the parks but we would really like to do more ADRs this visit and could also do with some recomendations for places at US and IOA please and also other restaraunts outside the parks or maybe at one of the resorts?? Any recommendations please for 2 adults one child age 10 but eats anything...none of us are fussy eaters but enjoy relaxed eating and not too stuffy!!!! Thanks in advance:smile:
I've asked a similar question before and some of the the most popular seem to be Le Cellier, Epcot; Crystal palace, MK; Chef Mickeys, Contemporary; Boma, AKL. I'm sure there are many others though and someone will be along with a list of recommendations!:o: :pgig:

We really enjoyed the food at Breakfastosaurus at AK, it is a character meal if your 10 year likes that sort of thing...but the breakfast was delish!
I too was the same with the Sci Fi Diner, didnt really enjoy the food, and felt really rushed!
Boma at AKL is gorgeous, the choice of food is fantastic.
We all enjoyed Hollywood and Vine in MGM also....great selection of foods ( and CAKES!!)

Some of our favourites are Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fayre, Beaches & Cream, Grand Floridian Cafe, Boma, Whispering Canyon, Hollywood & Vine.
Offsite we liked Sweet Tomatoes, Chilis, Perkins, Bahama Breeze.
Our all time favourite has to be The Crystal Palace!
My DD and her friend will also be 10 this trip and I have made adr's at The Crystal Palace (of course), Rose & Crown, Cinderella's Gala Feast at 1900 park Fare (Grand Floridian) Boma, Chef Mickeys and Hollywood & Vine! We have also decided to book Le Cellier (after reading some lovely reviews) and quite fancy the Marrakesh restuarant! Also on our list are Mythos at Universal, which has also got great reviews, and the Hard Rock Cafe and the new Bubba Gump restuarant in City Walk is due to open this month!

One of my favorites is 1900 park fare ( character breakfast), best food onsite iIMHO and the characters dont rush, breakfastsaurus is the worst Ive had, and had to complain it was that bad(got refund).
rainforest cafe at Ak is good if you have children, not as rushed as the DTD one and Ive found the food is better.
Whispering canyon cafe is a little gem at Wilderness lodge, especially if you have children, its not a quiet affair, but the food is excellent(it is always booked up so ADR's are a must), ive eaten breakfast/lunch and dinner here all good.
have to disagree on Boma's at AK, food is too geared up to the american palate(too sweet), and nothing like the authentic spices and herbs I was expecting.
Mythos at IOA is very good, the food and the theming.

At Universal there is Hrd Rock Cafe, which is not fantasic, but is a good experience, of for excellent food try Tcoup Tcoup at the Royual Pacific Resort.
At sea worl the Sharks underwater grill is very good.
At WDW 'Ohana is good, a famuly style all you can eat, most people find something they like. The good buffets (we like) are Chef Mickey and Crystal Palace (great rib of beef at both). Liberty Tree Tavern is good for both luch and dinner (we prefer dinner).
Also, Hollywood Brown Derby does good food, Artist Point is often overlooked and is realy good and the view from Califronia Grill also makes it worthwhile, it has good food as well.
A good site to look at menu's is

I just booked the followingh for Christmas (a fair few will go if we don't do the Disney Dining Plan!! ) a few very good faves and new ones:
Boma, been before!
Chefs de France (supposed to be 90% Victoria and Albert but 50% of cost)
Artist Point
Chef Mickey
Kona Cafe
1900 Park Fare (Christmas Dinner)
Cape May Cafe (been before, New Years Eve)
For food courts I really liked Mexico, Japan and Sunshine Season.
Last went 5 years ago so hopefully the food is still good!
off site Sweet Tomatoes, Hard Rock Cafe, Rainforest Cafe,
Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge would be great for your party
Parkwise if you haven't done Le Cellier than give it a go (the cheese soup is delicious) or Rose & Crown for the experience of watching Illuminations. We went to Olivias for the first time in 2004 at Old Key West Resort, it's lovely, food for all tastes and very laid back, this is on our must do list again next year.
