Which Disney hotel

My problem is I love both the All Stars and the Polynesian Disney hotels. The All stars are cheap and easy to book. With great themeing for the kids, the kids can run around and its very informal.
The Polynesian is harder to book and a lot more expensive. Its great for us as adults, the kids love the beach, taking a picnic on the boats and it has the creche.
So do I do the All Stars after all its only a hotel room and have another holiday with the money saved. Or the Polynesian and get the luxary great views and relaxation.:spin:

I completely understand your dilemma, we love the all stars and the POlynesian so have compromised and do all stars 2-3 years then Polynesian the next year.

Whichever you will have a ball I am sure.

I'd suggest splitting, first week at all stars and then finish off at the Poly :)

we had this dilema. i wanted to stop at port orleans but Dd all stars as she is only 7 we let her decide.

We always split the stay,. We were booked at ASMo this year, but as the main pool goes doen for a major rehab we have transfered to POP, then we go the WL.

Last year when at disney we did POFQ and then AKL. We were torn between WL and Poly, we ended up choosing WL and will do Poly next time.

You get a good feeliong for disney and it is nice to experience different hotels. We change more than once, but one change with chilkdren should be quiet easy and bell service will help with the change over.

I say split your stay or if you can stay at the Poly your whole holiday, then you will have childcare and the monorail!:wavey:

I have only stayed at the All-Stars before, I would LOVE to be able to stay at the Polynesian....I say definatly go for that one! Live life for each day, you never know what is gonna happen, if I had a spare few thousand I'd do Polynesian everytime! For now.....I shall stick with I-Drive!!

Why is it harder to book the Poly?

Personally I would choose the Poly - the All Stars just doesn't do it for me. If you can really get a 2nd holiday out of the savings, then I 'might' do the All Stars but only if I was definitely going to get more holiday in the long run.

I would definately stay at the All Stars and use the money saved for something else. We stay at the all stars and then we have more money to enjoy during the holiday or for something else completely. We would love to stay at a somewhere like the Poly, but when we we are in Disney we are hardly in the room anyway so as long as we stay somewhere in Disney we don't really mind where. Anyway, All Stars rocks!

If you can afford it I'd stay at the Poly in a heartbeat, but as the others have said, a split would be perfect.
