Boggy Creek

Hi has anyone been to Boggy Creek, if so could you let me know your views and if it's worth going? Have been looking at doing the combined safari and airboat trip.

Lots of dibbers have done the Boggy Creek airboats, including ourselves.

Absolutely brilliant is all I can say, one of the best things outside the parks that we have done.

Thanks for that Stuart. Like you thinking it'll be a break away from the parks and a chance to do something different. My other half wanted to go to the Everglades until I told him about Boggy Creek.

I've done Boggy Creek and the Everglades and if I had to choose one to do again it would be Boggy Creek! There are 2 locations in for Boggy Creek and we went from the smaller one. Loved it!

We really enjoyed it. I think you have to make a special request to sit next to the driver though. A taste of alternative Orlando.

We're going at the beginning of November does anyone think we should book in advance or will we be ok to book when we get to the hotel?

Try to get there early before it get too hot, more chance of seeing the habitat before it retreats into the undergrowth and shade.

Just turn up. November is pretty quiet around Kissimmee anyway.
If the boat is already on a trip, then you may have top wait a short while.At the East Lake Fish Camp there is a bar/cafe and diner so at least you can get a bite and a drink.

We really love Boggy Creek and always go to the East Lake Fish Camp location. It`s a fabulous experience and we`ve always seen plenty of wildlife including `gators! If you get some of the free coupon booklets there are always ones in there for money off a Boggy Creek airboat ride. :-)

Will definitely go we were thinking of going to the Southport one as we want to do the wildlife safari as well.:d:
