hi - my brother is turning 19 on the first day of our holiday. We are planning to go to MK. Being the silly sausages that we are, we were going to dress as pirates ( minus the guns or swords!!) Do you think Disney will let us in dressed in fancy dress? Also do u think if we tell the CMs that it his is birthday we will be let on the rides without queuing lol! Cheeky i know - but just wondered if other people did anything similar to celebrate their birthday??

They let fancy dress work at halloween, but they might take issue with it at any other time.. you might be mistaken for a cast member on PoTC

Also do u think if we tell the CMs that it his is birthday we will be let on the rides without queuing lol!

If they did, how many thousand people would be visiting the Magic Kingdom on "their Birthdays".. Sorry, I doubt any special priviledges there

Organise a dinner reservation a few weeks in advance, tell them that its his birthday, he might get a special dessert with "Happy Birthday" piped onto it in chocolate sauce but thats about it...

sorry.

Get a birthday badge and all the cast members will say happy birthday to him.

The birthday badges really get you noticed. My neice joined in with the barbers quartet in Main Street, had the remote controlled bin sing happy birthday to her while we waited for the parade (she had to hug and kiss it too). The best of all was when the conductor on the Train got everybody to wish her and sing Happy birthday to her while we travelled on it. An experience she'll never forget.
