Hi Everyone

My Dad has just had a colostomy fitted (in May) and wants to go abroad next year . He has been quoted £750 for travel insurance for two weeks in Portugal which seems ridiculous to me and he certainly can't afford. Do you know of a good travel insurer?

Thanks :)

Hope things are sorted for you but if it means going or not give www.freedominsurance.co.uk a try. They are very helpful and even with known issues will accept you. I know you already have cover but I'd take out a second policy if need be for the trip.

Just to let you know we got out 7 month old baby covered on an annual policy for £113 with tesco. She was born with several heart defects, all of which have been corrected but needed to be mentioned on the travel insurance.
