Has anyone been to or know exactly where Big Cat Rescue is????
I know its in Tampa. My sister is having her wedding blessing/renewal of vows here, over looking the lake. She wanted something different and quite intimate. Its a rescue cantre where all money goes back into caring for the animals :) Anyway, we were wondering if anyone knew exactly where it was as we would like to plan a nice meal for us all afterwards, quite close by. If we cant find one we will just travel back up to Kissimmee get changed and go local :d:

Used to be a chap on here ages ago called "doormat" he is a volunteer to the sanctuary and could help you further...assuming he is still registered?

I've been there and it is absolutely fantastic!!! I can't recommend it enough. Quality care and the people who work (volunteer) there are totally dedicated to the cause.

The facility is located off of a main street and there is a mall just opposite (maybe 1/4 mile down) to the dirt road. There are major restaurants within minutes of the rescue.

I'll take a look at the address and see if I can find out exactly. If not, I can always call them and add it to the thread later.

Thanks everyone. Ive had the web address and had a good look on there. My sister was sent some extra pics too which were of wedding blessings and they were beautiful.
As I dont know the area at all I have no clue when it comes to restaurants or even what the area is like. As there is a mall1/4 mile away I think I know what we might be doing after the ceremony ;)

Just got off of the phone with them and the mall info is:

The two local restaurants (less than 5 minutes) are:

Smokey Bones and Olive Garden


Smokey Bones has great BBQ but it is a very loud restaurant. Olive Garden would give you a more relaxed atmosphere. Both great food and atmosphere. Just depends on how you want to finish the day.
