Hi Toni
I have stayed in a log cabin in Cottage Country which is about 3 hours north of Toronto at a place called Parry Sound. The area is outstanding in beauty with plenty to do. see the link below

It was brilliant! Had 4 nights each in Jasper, Banff, Victoria and Vancouver.
We've already booked for Sept next year aswell. We booked our flights and car through Canadian Affair who have always been excellent, and it's definately worth paying for the upgrades on the flights. We flew into Vancouver and back out of Calgary because of the driving distance.
We did just about everything going in the time allowed, Grouse Mountain, Capliano suspension bridge (not to be repeated EVER!) Float plane, whale watching, Spirit Island, Totem Poles, and then some. We had snow in Banff and warm sunshine in Victoria and Vancouver. Once you've been, you'll always want to go back!!!
Thanks everyone for your great replies
