When we go to Florida, Typhoon Lagoon will be closed :( which leaves Blizzard Beach & I've heard that's not too good for the kids (aged 1, 2, 4, 7, 8 & 9) Hubby & I don't do all the big slides & from looking at WDW website there doesn't appear to much else but the children love waterparks

Soo, will having a pool at our villa, an afternoon at BB & a day at DC be enough or should we plan a trip to another waterpark (time is already stretched!!!) and if so what one would you recommend for the little ones?

We went to BB with ages 5, 8 and 15. In some ways it was better than TL for the younger kids. Can't say off the top of my head which rides the younger ones enjoyed, but there were a few they were on. There is a good bit for smaller children, Tikes Peak. There is the wave pool (gentle waves) which would be ok for smaller ones. We enjoyed it.

my aunt and uncle took my cousin who is 5 and he prefered BB as there was more for him to do. Other than that i think it will be enough, you shouldnt need wet and wild (that prob would be a bit old)

Thank you both :thumbs-up

I couldn't view any pics of Tikes Peak on Firefox but managed to just have a look on IE & it does look so relieved now as I'm sure the little one's will love that area

Looking at the time of year you are going a half day at Blizzard Beach should be enough.

Even though we prefer Typhoon Lagoon, BB is just as good and has some good rides i.e. Summit Plumet...I suppose the only concern would be is that with TL closed BB is going to be busy.
