Carmarthenshire????

Evening peeps

Need your help!!

We are thinking of taking the kiddies away for a few days before they return to school. Are hoping to travel either on the 26th/27th and stay at the Carmarthen Bay Holiday Park in Kidwelly. Have any of you Dibbers out there been to this site or are there any 'locals' on here with any good/bad reports of the site and ideas of what to do when we are there.

I believe the site is literally 'on the beach'. Just need a few days away.

Any comments ????

Hi Kirlie

There is loads to do around that area, tenby is not far, there is a medium sized theme park called Oakwood, Folly farm a good day out if you have little ones.
All these places have web sites you can go to.

Shame its a weekend your going for as we live about 40 min away and we could have had a mini dibb meet.:grin:

Will check out the websites for those places mentioned. We may be lucky and be able to spend longer than the weekend as I would like to try and get to Angle, Pembrokeshire as I have family who live in that village.

As for the offer of more questions, get ready;) ;)

tenby and saundersfoot are nice seaside areas,you can take boats trips etc

i have never been to the carmarthen bay site so cant comment on that unfortunately, but im sure if you ask on www.tripadvisor.com or www.holidayforums.co.uk someone will have been :)

Oakwood, Folly Farm and the Dinosaur park are great days out for the kids, my two love these places.

We have just visited my parents who live in Saundersfoot which is a lovely area . The kids love Folly farm and Oakwood . We also visited Pembroke castle which we enjoyed. The beaches in Saundersfoot are gorgeous there is one where the dogs can run about and one where they are banned.You will have a great time there is loads to do.

oh and if you go to Saundersfoot check out the 2 Stewarts seconds stores you can get gap , and quicksilver clothes there sometimes , i got 2 pairs of great gap shorts for £4 each .There is a kids and an adults store.
