Hey,

We plan to go to celebration one evening during this trip as have heard they have some lovely things going on around christmas time - It would be nice to have a nice meal while there, can anybody reccomend any nice places suitable for couples, as I couldnt find any menus or general info on celebration eating places

There's a couple of menus here (http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm#cel) for the Market St Cafe and the Japanese in Celebration.

The Market Street Cafe is really nice and their shakes are yummy. :-)

If you want somewhere for couples, we've booked for Plantation Room at Celebration. Fairly expensive but hey, you're on holiday! Link below

MTCelebration owns Sherlocks in Celebration and that looked very nice ,the food looked good but we didn't get to eat there as we had the kids with us.Also they have live music at the weekends. We ate at the Marketplace cafe which was good with kids. Why not just go see what you fancy.

We go that time of year whenever we go. Not very christmasy but the diner on the corner of the main street is excellent.

We would recommend Cafe d'Antonio's, we eat there every time we go. They have a range of pasta & pizza that is very reasonably priced, and if you want meat or fish they are pricier but excellent. There is usually a menu of the day in the winter months which is extremely good value for a 3 course meal (if you can eat it!). They have recently expanded outside and have heaters on the outside patio giving additional seating.

Celebration is beautifully decorated at Christmas time and is worth a visit for that alone. Now they have built condos over most of the car park parking can be difficult, so aim to get there early, particularly on the snow nights when it is packed.

We have eaten at the Colombia and find Antonios better, and there is a Japanese restaurant there as well which we haven't tried (children not very adventurous!).

Other than my lovely place on Bloom Street  , as a resident I would recommend Seito's the Japanese place. Consistantly great. I am having my 40th Birthday there this week. Next would have to be Cafe D'Antonio but please try the hotel too, they have some great bar meals, limited but gorgeous surroundings.

Promise? :(

I promise! I had a wonderful 40th birthday floating down Venice's Grand Canal in a gondola  and since then I have travelled to Florida twice, visited my penpals in Wisconsin and spent a week in New York, ridden on the back of a Harley and stood at the front of a 135,000 strong crowd (right under the stage) watching Robbie Williams at Knebworth :tounge: And I'm still only (just) 44!

Who says being over 40 has to be boring? I've had a blast since I turned 40! :D
