Phantasialand in Germany

Has anyone visited this park & what did they think of it?
Was it easy to get to by public transport from Cologne?
Planning on going there in October & windered how it comapred to Disney or even Europa Park in Southern Germany.:grin:

I went donkeys years ago when i lived in Germany. Friends visited a few years ago and said it was ok but dated. I would put it on par with Flamingo Land (but without the animals) not Alton Towers. That is unless its changed in the last few years.

Theres supposed to be a brilliant zoo in cologne though. We used to visit the Mosel, boat on the Rhine, wine tasting.....love to go back

I went there in approx 1990 - it was great fun then but can't really coment 16 years on:) :)

We visited here in about 1988 - they had white tigers there then I think! Sorry not to be off more help!!
