I've been Bonzo,
Its a more relaxing place than the theme parks, so it makes a nice change. There are some nice floral displays and its never too busy so you can take your time.
I have been twice before and plan on going again this year to see the xmas decorations.

I went way back in the eighties and really liked it. It was so relaxing after the Disney parks and was very picturesque - we're hoping to go again this December as well, although it is probably entirely different now!

Had planned to do it this week actually!;)
It's on the list for next year, looking forward to the beauty and quiet of the park.

We went in 1992 and liked it; we went again in 2002 and were not so keen. It is expensive to get in, the garden are lovely but there is a zoo area with animals and birds in very small and poor enclosures which put us right off.
We would not go again. See my trip report Day 15 - Cypress Gardens and the move to Bradenton (http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12726)
