Does Norman Bates own our hotel?

Hiya,

We're going to Florida in March for the 1st time and we're booked in at The Holiday Inn on International Drive.
Has anyone stayed there and can give us a lowdown on what the hotel is like.
We have 3 children aged 11,13 and 15 with us and any info on good cafe/restaurants closeby would also be a big help.

we have stayed here 2005 and 2006.

we are also booked to go back 2007.

we found this hotel to be in an excellent location. lots of restaurants were very easy to reach.

we normally buy an i-ride ticket and this allows you to go on the i-ride up and down international drive as much as you want.

lots of nice restaurants

bahama breeze
chillis
olive garden
race rock
golden corral
ponderosa
sizzlers
pizza hut is almost next door.

the list is endless.

the hotel also has a restaurant which is quiet good.

the hotel is nice and clean and very friendly.

it has a gift shop, a small games room and a bar.

the buses to the theme parks are very good.

you are 5 minute walk to wet and wild.

We stayed in this hotel last time we went, and i would reccomend it, we had a tower room, good size everything in it you would need eg: fridge, microwave,the beds were big and comfortable, plenty of shops and resturants near by. Shuttle bus to the parks were also handy. :)
