We are going to Disney for the first time as a family and for the first time in a disney resort hotel and taking our 8 year old daughter, staying at the CBR (beaches the deciding factor) can anyone recommend the best village to stay in for room quality, ease of transport, amenities etc. Want to make this a very special holiday for her we are travelling on 6th June next year, have read some conflicting reports on the resort and now beginning to wonder if we have done the right thing.:wavey:
We stayed in Martinique. It was an excellent location. Close to food courts, buses and a small pool.
I am not sure if this is now classed as a preferred location.

We also stayed in Martinique I think we were in buiding 23 which was near the back next to the car park but it was close to the bus stops and both the martinique pool and barbados pool also martinque beach is one of the beaches with a small playground.

Yes it is but well worth the extra IMO.
We are staying next August at the CBR for the second time, it's a lovely resort. Who have you booked with as Virgin have told us they don't have any preferred building rooms so Val is contacting CBR direct for us.

Hi thanks for the information feel a lot happier. We have booked with Virgin, rang their customer service team and they have put Martinique down as a special request for us. Didn't say that there would be any extra cost incurred if allocated a room in that village.
