Can anyone tell me if they have recently stayed at this hotel?

We stayed here in 2001 and really enjoyed our stay, however lastnight we decided to look at some recent reviews and it brought a few concerns to our attention.

I have just called our accom only operator who we booked with and we cannot change, if we cancel we lose the lot!

Please if you have stayed here recently, or know someone who has, post a recent report for us!!!!!

stayed there in 2004 no problems we enjoyed it so much we have booked again for this year. If you looked at trip advisor it will scare you i know it did my dw but it was fine

Hi Tinkerbelle Sorry To But In Never Stayed In Bwp Its Our First Time In Florida But Have To Agree With Kevin I Also Think Trip Advisor Is Scary I Had Looked Up Hotels In Uk And Europe And Everyone I Had Booked Had Mostly Bad Reports But When I Got To Them They Were Perfectly Fine Sorry Can't Help With Your Original Question Have You Tried Looking On This Dibb Site They Have Better Reports

I stayed in May 04 it was ok and im really fussy, it could of been cleaner but it wasnt the pits, the location is good.

It is an ideal hotel if you just want somewhere to sleep and shower as we found we didnt want to spend much time in the room.

It cant be any worse the the Comfort Inn Universal now thats a bad hotel.

We stayed there july this year, hotel is in a good location with plenty of restaurants nearby. When we checked in there was no key for the safe so went to reception to see about getting one, receptionist said person who had stayed before us must have taken it and couldn't get a new one till they charged them $100 to pay for new key, offered to let us put our belongings in the safe at reception but wasn't happy about that as reception was always busy and didn't want to have to wait in a massive queue every time we wanted to get to our money. Asked about another room, nothing available till next day, decided to upgrade for an extra $10 a night to get fridge, microwave and cooker, room is exactly the same size as standard room. The rooms are very basic and not as clean as they could have been although the maids did their best, carpet didn't meet the floor, and we had a lovely big cockroach that lived in the bathroom, we called him Rocky!! When we checked out it turned out with tax that the upgrade cost us $11.25 a night plus a $2.50 a night resort fee which we hadn't been warned about before hand so ended up paying out quite a bit of money at the end of the holiday. Everyones experience is different and you might not come across any problems don't let bad reviews spoil your holiday before you get there. Although we wouldn't stay there again it didn't ruin our holiday!
