Best Western International Plaza

Hi Guys

Has anyone stayed at the Best Western International Plaza on idrive before? If so, is it a nice hotel and what restaurants and shops are nearby. Any info is greatly received?

hi there my dgf and i stayed ther im may 05 and found it a great place to stay, the rooms are basic but you wont be in them much, clean. but best of all is the location! olive garden (yummy italian) tony romas (ribs to die for) bahama breeze, and more within a 2 minute walk. the pool is nice and big and the hot tub is hot (imagine a hot bath) the pool is open till midnight too. i loved having a swim when getting back from the parks, ahhhhhh heaven!!!!!!!!

I stayed there a few years back, and as the poster above said, it was basic and clean. Great location, you have LOADS of food options on your doorstep, as well as a Walgreens supermarket a stones throw away. One tip i would give you is pay the extra money for a fridge in your room, their standard rooms don't automatically come with one.

but you do get an ice bucket and there are numerouse ice machines around the hotel not the same i know but food for thought

It's also right next door to a Friendly's which does good breakfasts (not buffets though) and excellent ice cream sundaes. Just a little further down I-Drive is a good Sizzler which does the $3.99 buffet breakfasts and sells nice cheap same day Daily Mails! Generally though there are plenty of restaurants about.

We stayed there in May 04, room was basic but could of been cleaner, the location was good plenty within walking distance, im not sure if i would stay there again though it would have to be cheap :)
