Smokers Anonymous that is - hello my name is the melster and I am a smoker :o:
I don't have a problem with the flight as don't seem to want one.
I know that all eating establishments are non-smoking (I think) - also fine.
I have also worked out where I can smoke in all the parks.
What I would like to know is where can I go out at night and have a drink and a cigarette ?
Do any of the restaurants/bars have an outside seating area where smoking is allowed etc.?
Don't mind if I can't smoke but would be nice if I could sometimes. :pgig:

Hi Melster
You can smoke in Downtown Disney when out on the streets, there are ashtrays everywhere. There are some places with outside seats but not sure if smoking is allowed.
You could always pop out for a ciggie if you need to me and my Husband do and never had any problems.
We have stayed at Allstars movies on our last 2 trips and had no problems smoking outside there too, no restrictions at the bar, around by the pool or outside your room. (When we was outside our room we put a little water in a plastic cup for our ashtray!)
Have a great time :d:

Ahemmm, I too a 'smoker' - but only kinda social. :confused2
My DH is a smoker also. Flight is ok for us too - just one of those things and we are considerate about blowing the evil smoke all over folks ;)
We found that restaurants were totally No Smoking. As for the bars, we found they were ok for a puff - however, bear with me as we went in 2003 and things have probably changed since then. We found that at the hotel people smoked in the outside areas and disposed of the butts carefully. However, again, I can't vouch for that being totally accurate as each hotel has different policies.
I think it is widely recognised that there are smokers and you can find designated areas in bars or outside.
You will be ok.............wanna join us for a puff in the carpark? ;)
Thankyou Melster For Posting That Thread Never Gave Smoking Ban A Thought As Never Knew There Was One Aaaach I Am The Dreaded Smoker Hubby Not So He Is Very Happy

Hi I'm a smoker too, I agree with what Sue said, we have just come home and we did exactly like Sue, even had our own little ashtray for smoking outside. The flight never bothered us, you can smoke in the airport in the designated areas before flying too.

Hi, im Claire and i too am a Smoker  so is my DH
DH has nicotene chewing gum for the flight (saddo;) ) but im fine if i know i cant have a cig then i cant have a cig.
We find it ok in Florida as there are plenty of designated areas in the parks and you can smoke in the streets etc (i dont though call me weird but i cant coordinate myself to walk and smoke at the same time), we also found if we ate in the outside area at TGIs on I Drive you could smoke there but that was the only eating place we found you could.
Most hotels also have Smoking rooms and if you cant get one then you can go out and smoke on the balcony.
As for the airport Sanford and Manchester all have designated areas but Orlando airport didnt and if they did we were not told about it when we asked at check in :(
Claire
Just to add, you can smoke in any of the designated 'smoking' buildings at the Disney resorts. However, if you are in a non smoking building, you are not permitted to go out on the balcony/walk-way to smoke, I'm not sure if they impose a 'fine', but when I went with one of my friends to POFQ a few years back she went out for a puff on the walk-way and was stopped by a member of staff.

Don't know whether you saw my other post which prompted me do do this one but Jellyrolls at Disney's Boardwalk allows smoking and is supposed to be a really cracking night out. Two 'duelling' piano's which take requests.

just a shame they dont police it in the parks. saw loads of people smoking around the parks this year and even security were ignoring them. I am a smoker but it really gets up my nose when people ignor the rules so i guess non smokers fell worse
