It is my first visit to Florida, but we are old hats to the Disneyland Hotel Paris, where we have character meals everyday.

In Paris we find no need to book as people dont normally want to pay the preium price.

But in Florida do you need to book?

I want my kids to have the best time and the character meals really made our Paris visits, so i dont want to miss out.

I am just a little concerned over our bodies clocks and where we will end up each day.

What should i do to make it as magical as posible

thanks

Daniel:)

Hi Daniel

YES, YES, YES - to avoid major dissapointment, get dialling:

Go to the ADR link to book.

We have booked ADRs for our trip and were surprised that times were limited -I booked about 80 days in advance! I don't know how many you usually book, but every day could be expensive - but then again, you may have a nice big budget ;)

I would make a plan of sorts and book asap. If you are worried about your body clocks it may be best to make early dinner reservations for around 4-5pm. During the first couple of days, we usually start flagging around 7pm. Again, due to the time difference, you are bound to be up early at the start of the hols and so an early character brekkie would work well - I think they start from 7:30am, but not sure - some other knowledgeable Dibber may be able to help.

Good luck and have a happy holiday.:wavey:

Please, please, phone them NOW on 00-1-407-WDW-DINE. You ideally should have done this about 170 days ago, but maybe there have been some cancellations? The nicest places for kids character breakfasts are places like Chef Mickey's and the Cinderella Royal Table (the latter particularly good for girls) but I'm afraid they will be booked out for any reasonable eating times by now.

The time difference will work in your favour for a few days, certainly on your first full day there you will be up very early so even a 7.30am breakfast is quite do-able. Over the next couple of days your body clocks will quickly acclimatise and by the end of the third or fourth day you'll be Floridians. You didn't say where you are staying, if it's on-site at WDW then the travel time to your meals will be much easier of course.

Unlike Paris, there's no messing about with silly vouchers either, just take your ADR reservation number to the restautant and they will have your booking logged ready for you.

We went to Crystal Palace for DD 2nd b'day and just booked on the day - took about 20mins wait in Jan.

But at that point, Disney World were't giving out free meals to half of the people staying on site - which has kinda changed the equation a bit. But there are always cancellations, so it's worth being persistent.

YES, as its a busy time with free dining as previously said. I would book as much as you can........... perhaps Chef Mickeys, 1900 Park Fayre, Crystal Palace and maybe some others........... just to ensure you get some quality character time !!!

Get on the phone!
