Mickey's Christmas Party

Thinking of getting tickets for this but was wondering how it works:erm: What about all the people already in the park without a party ticket, won't they see the parades, fireworks etc without having paid the extra or is the park closed and only party ticket holders allowed in?

I've bought tickets for the 5/12. Other dibbers have indicated that you get a wristband. This then allows you to go on all the rides. What I'm not sure about is how they get everybody else out of the park ?!!?!?

We have done MVMCP a couple of times. On entry to the park all those with tickets get a red band on your wrist. You are then only allowed on the rides on presentation of this red band. I suppose no-one would notice if people didn't have a pass however, without the red band they couldn't go on a ride, couldn't have chocolate and cookies or the photos.

Can't wait for the next party in 2007!

We have been to the Halloween Party and what happens there, I guess happens at the Christmas Party!

If you are a party 'guest', you are given a wrist band and ushered to a particular part of the park (it was Tomorrowland when we were there). If you didnt have a wrist band, you would be ushered to the exit. If you dont have a wrist band you cant ride! Noone was allowed in the shops or on the rides after a particular time (cant remember what time!). The restaurants/shops/rides were closed off until official party time of 7pm when they were reopened.

I would imagine if anyone tried to sneakily stay in and it was spotted they didnt have a wrist band, they would be asked to leave straight away! It is surprising how organised it all is! :wavey:

I rung Disney in the US about this and they told me if you didn't have a party ticket or wristband you would be "politely" escorted out of the Magic Kingdom.
