Teppanyaki with Dibbmates!

As I’ve reported on Teppanyaki previously – that and the fact that I’ve run out of time, before we return to WDW in a couple of days to take even more food pics - I’ll keep this short and sweet and tell you we had a fab evening with Bob and Dawn and Mike and Amanda.
Bob and Mike have both reported a bit more detail of what everyone ate in their own trippies, so I’ll let the piccies do most of the talking here.
After our meal we all went off to watch Reflections of Earth together and have some more drinkies, afterwhich we adjourned to the Bellevue Lounge at the Boardwalk for a jolly good laugh and even more drinkies!!!

We started out with drinks and Seaweed Salad

Then Paul had salad with Ginger dressing and I had the Sushi Sampler. I liked the California Rolls, but was not so keen on the raw fish; I’m not adventurous enough yet!

I had Sirloin Steak which was extremely tender and juicy and Paul had the Yasai veggies which were cooked separately before the chef embarked on cooking the meat and seafood.

I suffer with the heat and just wondered if I would need to have a vest on undre warmer clothes incase it's cold outside - sorry being fussy here.

I really feel the heat too Jane - my age I think

The air conditioning is pretty good in there. I don't recall being overly hot. I did have half a bottle of nicely chilled Sauvignon Blac to help cool me off though. :cocktail:

You could always nip to the loo and put your vest in your handbag Jane :pgig:

Dawn - you've got me bang to rights ;) Do you reckon I'll get the October ones up before 2007?

Sue I'd just like to say your reports and pics are great, they really encourage me to eat and enjoy the dining as part of my holiday, but I'd never take a bet on when u post your reports;)

LOL Steve I'm rubbish at getting them done aren't I? Silly really as I love doing them. I always get a bit of the post WDW blues and can't get it together after I return. That plus a trip down the road to the Priory for the detox that's needed :tounge: :pgig:

I'd make you a promise to turn over a new leaf and get the next ones up real quick - but I wouldn't want to let you down :D

I promise I'll try though! :d:

Sorry I have to say that the salad looks awful, hopefully it tasted nicer than it looked. Everything else looks tasty though.

Wow another great report, I love reading yours, the photos are brilliant! Is this place suitable for kids would you say? They'd love to wtach th'r food being cooked I'm sure but at 5 and 3 when we go back, I'm not sure I trust them too near those hot plates.

Mmmmmmm! the food looks amazing. I'm also hoping to do this one next year so I'm hoping it's suitable for kids as ours wil also be 5 and 3. I would presume if you eat earlier on there will be quite a few families.

One question though? Can i use a knife and fork? I notice you are all using your chop sticks and i'm afraid that it will take me 2 weeks to eay all that food if i have to use them

Hearing a lot of drinks mentoned on this one Sue!!!??? A few sore heads in the morning perhaps?!

Can't believe you're off again so soon. Look forward to hearing more in due course - with some great pics too! I may try to pluck up some courage to take some food pics this time. Have booked us in for Seasons52 and the Yachtsman on the strength of your food pics so looking forward to those!

Pam.
