Disney Dollars

Just wondering if these still exist???

I know at one time you could change normal dollars into Disney Dollars free of charge in Disney parks and it was legal tender in there.

I have just found an old $5 Disney Dollars and it gor me thinking, also we are taking our Nephew in November to Orlando for the first time and thought it may be good to change him some Disney Dollars if this still exists.

Any have any info on this???

Any Disney relations sell them. We got some 2 weeks back. They have lots.

$1 is Cinderella or Dumbo. $50 is Mickey. There are various others including Donald and Goofy all ranging in value.

Last time I went back in 2000 all the notes had Mickey on. Can you still get the Disney coins?

You could always ask some very kind person to exchange some dollars for you whilst on their trip for you. I have took up this same very kind offer from a dibber they should arrive shortly :grin:

They are nice to be kept as souveniers for kids I still have the disney dollar that was given to me on my 4th birthday back in 1988 - it was my official holiday souvenier.

We changed some Disney Dollars in the last couple of weeks, we bought them at guest relations in the Magic Kingdom. By the way if your child loses a tooth whilst on holiday in Disney Tinkerbell is the tooth fairy and leaves a Disney Dollar;)
