Ok guys. I've been trying to work out which tickets we need but there are so many options that I think I'm going to end up with 14 day/2 week tickets for everything as it's too hard to decide!!

We are flying out 19th April next year and there are six adults going. We want to do the Discovery Cove dolphin swim, all the disney parks, busch gardens, the two universal parks and a waterpark.

Is it a waste to buy two week tickets for everything, bearing in mind that we will be lucky to have enough time to do everything once.

Is there some magical way of working out what we are likely to need and what is the best value.

To confuse things even more I have 6 day tickets for disney that I can use so I don't need any disney tickets at all.

Can anyone give me a bit of guidance on where to start and how to work out what I need. Should I go for a one day to each thing ticket or just go for a 2 week ticket in case we get a chance to go back.:confused2

Ok first of all upgrade your dolphin swim to the fortnight at BG and Sea World. Seaworld is very worth a day's visit. My fave I think. If you really can't fit it in then just get 7 days of BG entry with your dolphin swim (this is free). You will love Discovery Cove by the way.

As for a water park try the Disney ones, Typhoon Lagoon for example is excellent.
You can do all 4 Disney Parks and 1 Disney Water park in 5 days I think, 6 at most. If all adults don't have 6 Disney tickets then i'd recommend a 5 day premium ticket, this would mean that you'd have to do all your Disney in 5 consectutive days but would save you lots of money (don't get a 14 day one!)
As for Universal/IOA, i'd buy a 2 day 2 park ticket if people on the Dibb think parks will be busy then, a 1 day 2 park ticket if you think it will be quiet. We did both parks easily in 1 day last week (we're 2 adults).

Hope that helps

Oh yeah. We do want to go to Seaworld as well. I just missed it out!!

So you think a 5 day ticket would be best then? Does that allow entry into a water park as well? And we have to go 5 days in a row?

Your discovery cove ticket can give you entrance to BG/SW so you're covered there.

You have Disney tickets you say so you're covered for Disney & the waterparks

Only thing left to decide is your Universal tickets - you can get 1 week tickets to USF for $85 or 2 week for about £70 as well as the 2 day tickets :)

I believe that you might be able to pay more to get them not to expire - so you could use them all fortnight.
Perhaps google search, 5 day ultimate tickets allow a certain number of entries into water parks, Pleasure Island etc.
7 day premium tickets are slightly more expensive but I think allow you unlimited access into everything.
I'd get a 2 day 2 park ticket for Universal, not a week, however as I said we really had done both parks in the one day, depends on time of year

Way are you pricing up premium/ultimate tickets when you state you already ahve Disney tickets? I'm confused !

I am assuming one person has DIsney tickets, but the other 5 don't.

5 & 7 day premium tickets are no cheaper than 14 day ultimate tickets if you shop around, so I would buy the 14 day and give yourself all that flexibility.
5 day ticket is £155 and 14 day is £159. That was with attraction tickets direct, but I think it's the same all over.

No you wouldn't have to go 5 days in a row, all the UK tickets from the 5 day to the 14 day are good for 14days from first use.

Your discovery cove ticket will get you access to EITHER Seaworld or Busch Gardens, or both for an extra $30 - that's probably the cheapest way to see both those parks.

Admission to either SeaWorld Orlando or Busch Gardens Tampa Bay* for seven consecutive days. Or a combination pass with admission to both parks for 14 consecutive days for $30 more.

So, that's Disney, Seaworld, Busch Gardens, and Water Parks taken care off, so you just need some universal/ioa tickets now.

You can get a three day ticket for $104, that's any 3 out of 7 days.

so my recommendation (and sorry it's taken 3 posts)

Upgrade your Discovery Cove ticket to include both Seaworld and Busch $30
14 day Disney ticket £159
Universal 3 day ticket $104

Thanks guys. I think I am nearly there now.

It is just me with the Disney tickets. I work in the Disney Store so get free tickets on ocassions and I've been saving them for the trip.
