Anyone just back from Seaworld???

I understand they have revamped the Shamu Happy Harbour and was wondering what it is now like and if the new Shamu kids Coaster is any good.
My kids will play for ages in there, giving us wrinklies a well earned rest!!:d:

Yeah it is really good at this new kids area - the coaster is great for kids and there wasn't much of a queue in July- however we went during the Shamu show was on.

It's fun enough, but REALLY short. The train was REALLY big though, so the line wasn't that long. Think of a small-Unicorn, or along the lines of the Barnstormer.

we did it and it lasted less than a minute and that included the line!!

You know, they have added other stuff to the happy harbour too!!
It has been completely revamped and really smartned up.
Two other brand new "kid-friendly" additions include a jellyfish-themed samba tower ride and a water spout-themed tea cup ride.
"Jazzy Jellies" will lift and spin families in jellyfish-themed seats while "Swishy Fishies" will enable adventurous youngsters to sit in over-sized seats while they spin around a giant water spout.
They also added a new inflatable bouncy thing, and a new interactive water feature.

Sorry, I know "inflatable bouncy thing" isn't really very helpful, but I can't really think how else to describe it!

It doesn't matter about it being a really short ride.
We have a 9 yr old who has learning disabilities and is more like a 4 yr old so a short fun ride would be ideal for him.

I'm sure the kids will have bags of fun and I'll be sure to take their swim gear with them.

My 9 yr old son loved the Happy Harbour and the Shamu coaster was the only coaster he managed for the whole holiday, he loved it,:grin: we must have went on it about 10 times, and there were really short q's, its a good place for you to sit down and relax for a little while as well, bring dry clothes as you can get very wet:pgig:
