Will be in Orlando 25 Jan so have got tickets for the all star college football game.

Anybody ever been?
Is game starts 2pm what time will pre-game entertainment start?
How long roughly will it last?
How easy (by car) from Kissimmee to Citrus Bowl?
Any other hints and tips?

Thanks

Wow Coiln would love to go to that game. I like watching Gridiron, i think the game could last maybe 2hrs or more not sure( they have 4x15 periods--but all those stops inbetween..lol). Last year we took in a game of Baseball at WDW the Braves-Mets it was great. Great atmosphere even the grannies were singing...lol. One thing i would say is get there early and soak up the atmosphere.

Have fun :wink

I would count on the game lasting at least 3 hours probably closer to 4. There are 4 x 15min quarters which take at least 1/2 hr each, then a break between each quarter, and a long break at half-time (around 30 minutes at half time).

the official pre-show entertainment at my university used to start about 20 minutes before hand, maybe a bit earlier. Each band got 10 minutes to do a show, plus the university often had official stuff to do after that,

I would plan on getting to the car park at least an hour before, but you could get there even earlier and partake in the 'tail-gating' you will find people have brought picnics to eat in the carpark before the game, some will have barbeques set up, but most everyone will at least have some crisps and a few drinks before the game. We tended to take subs if we didn't want to bbq. When I was in the band, we would circulate around the car park and entertain the crowds before we even entered the stadium.

Have a blast - it's really good fun, a completely different experience to anything you've ever seen before!
