yet another question! daft one at that.can you use the table service credits at counter service? a coupleof us think you can! also is there a list anywhere of eating places participating in the free dining plan?

Hi yes u can use TS credits for CS credits and this year during free dining they actually offered incentives to do this, heres a link to a guide here on dibb

You can and as highlander said there is an incentive to do this too ;) Personally I wouldn't want to exchange too many though, take advantage of all the lovely TS restaurants at Disney :grin:

Hi this was offered for first time this year, so it may not be offered for next year but heres what was offered this year
Special menu items will be available for dinner at the All Star Movies and Pop Century resorts now through September 4. If you are using the Disney Dining Plan, you can use one Table Service entitlement per person for your choice of prime rib, salmon, or turkey. You will also receive a certificate for your choice of a pin and lanyard set, poster, or two snacks.


In addition, now through October 7, if you choose to dine in Quick Service locations using Disney Dining Plan Table Service entitlements, you will receive a certificate for your choice of one of the following items: two snacks, a collectible Disney Trading Pin and lanyard (pin design may vary), or a "Where the Magic Lives" poster featuring Mickey and his friends. All items are subject to availability.

If you choose the two-snack option you can redeem the certificate at any Quick Service or Outdoor Foods location or participating merchandise locations (both snacks must be redeemed at the same time, in the same participating location). If you choose either the pin and lanyard set or Disney poster you can redeem the certificate at merchandise locations listed on the certificate.

We traded a few of our TS credits for CS credits. We got 4 Lanyard / Pins as well as the CS meals.
The lanyards were plain blue and there was a choice of about 6/7 pins.

thanks everybody for confirming that you can trade table service for counter service credits, next question, do you just take it to the counter service checkout when you pay or do you have to arrange it somewhere first!
