Hi,
Just got back this morning, went to Bahama Breeze for dinner on Wednes day....absolutely gorgeous food. Would highly recommend them, but beware of the onion rings for starters,as they are massive and piled high so could spoil your main meal as they are yummy but filling. Key Lime pie for dessert is a must and is big enough for two. Have to wait till next year to go again, but working on it.

I agree, it is excellent. We always go there. However we all really disliked the key lime pie. It was so sweet and sickly and not like any I had had or made before. It didnt help that it was served at room temperature and the centre was soft and warm. We'll be back next time for sure

Mel,

Dinner for 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) was $80 inc tip. Starter, main course and drinks - DW had a cocktail. Great food, massive portions and really good prices.

This is one of our favourite restaurants. The starter of roasted cuban bread is really tasty and we love the lemon breeze drinks. Fabulous food and theming. :-)

Those are Habernero Wings and they are lovely arent they? Very, Very moorish and I felt that they made my lips swell they were so hot!!! But will definitely order them again when we visit next week - YIPPEEE! Has anyone tried the Tropical Prawns for main - they are one of the best meals I have ever had!

The cinnamon sweet potato mash is to die for, along with the Aruba Red, the house special - a smooth amber lager. I even tried make the sweet potato mash when we got home, but it was not the same!!!!!!

We went to Bahama Breeze last month because of the good reports it had on The Dibb. I am sorry to say we were very disappointed. I had the salmon. The fish was nice but the potatoes were very badly mashed - rustic I can take but just plain lumpy was not nice. The service was dreadful. Our waiter was so bad that other passing staff kept filling our glasses etc.
My DH did not want to leave a tip as the service and food were so bad. He then thought this was not a good idea as they would probably think that it was just Brits being rude and not tipping so he asked to speak to the manager. After explaining why we were not happy that manager took 20% off the bill. I really hope that we were just unlucky and usually it is as good as everyone says but I think it will be a while before we try it again.

mmmmmm we ate at Bahama Breeze twice. I would recommend the jerk chicken wings as a starter and the kebabs with rice as a main!!.

Never got as far as as dessert as we were both stuffed but the mojitos were really good as well!!

We had some wonderful meals here earlier this year, but unless you have a very, very sweet tooth avoid the Key Lime Pie, the crust or base or whatever you call it is almost pure brown sugar!

Freckles, my mum-in-law had the tropical prawns as a main and said they were really gorgeous, the best she`s ever had. She is very fussy too, so it shows how good they are!! ;-)

We love the Pork with Garlic Mash (sometime skinny fries instead) simple but delish. Favorite cocktail in Florida is 'a week at the beach' gorgeous!

Love Bahama Breeze, great atmosphere and lovely food. I can recommend the almond crusted salmon with cinnamon sweet potato mash - yum yum. The kid's pizza came with a bowl of melon which was a nice change from fries.
