I wonder if anyone knows....
We are going out again in February. The first week Sharon and I will be on our own in a Studio at OKW on DVC points, we're paying cash for the weekend and then we are moving to a one bedroom when our twins fly out to meet us for half term. Again on points. So we have 3 bookings.
We were not intending to use the Dining Plan when the kids are with us as they prefer Universal and Busch and IOA, being teenagers. As I understand it the Dining Plan has to be used for the duration of your stay.
However as we have three seperate bookings with Disney do you think they would let us use the plan for the first two reservations and not the last.
Hope that makes sense
Cheers
Pete :confused2

Yes if you have 3 seperate bookings, you can book the DDp for any of the bookings.

No but I know that you can :)
I know you have to have the ddp for all of your booking if you want to do it so if you have 3, you can choose which of the time periods you want to do it for. If you search on here, it'll confirm it.

Treacle: I phoned Disney last night and as our bookings were linked we had to have the meal plan for the whole 8 days that we were in the studio, even though that was 3 seperate bookings (points/weekend/points) Only when we moved to the one bedroom apartment could we come off of the plan. As this was pretty much what we wanted I have no complaints.
Kev: I think you only get it free if you're staying at Disney and you buy park tickets as part of a package. DVC members get the plan at a discounted rate, which at todays rates means about £25 per day. We used the plan last month and at that price it is very good value. You need a big appetite though as there is tons of food. (We brought the snacks, thinjs like boxes of cookies, and biscuits home for the kids) as we just couldn't eat everything. (also we both put on about half a stone, which we are now trying to work off.:omg:

Highlander:- Yes you're right. I've just checked on the official DVC website and there are no discounts when we go in Feb 07. However it's still only about £25 each per day, which when you see how much you get it's a bargain, especially as tips are included.
Cheers Pete.

I think it's more £20 per day given the excellent exchange rate just now.
