View Full Version : horizons by marriott vacation club
another one, we also have a week booked here and again would be interested if anyone has stayed here before. whats it like? and which building would you recommend. i have looked on google earth and all that seem to be there is the pool and one building. (and i have tried local live)
We have timeshare there and it's a great resort. I don't know how buildings there are now, but certainly a lot more than 1. We were last there in January and there are possibly 10 buildings, I'm not certain though.
There are 2 pools, one of which has a huge pirate ship with slides etc which kids love. The other is quieter and more for adults. There is also a childrens water park - no deep water. There is also a mini golf course on site as well as volleyball, basketball and football pitches. They were building a cinema as well but I don't know if it's open yet.
The units are very spacious, sleep a maximum of 8 and have nice big balconies.
You could check out the website as it may have more up to date information. I don't think you'll be disapointed :D
Oh I forgot to say they do the best cocktails ever at the poolside bar here. We are staying at Horizons for a week in May and I'm sooo looking forward to it, especially after typing this. :jump: :jump:

I'm sure there are 6 accomodation buildings, the newer ones have the 42" plasma and DVD player. 2 pools, kids water park. don't think the lazy river has been built yet, or the cinema and shops.
The staff are really friendly and helpfull, and its in a good location for getting anywhere.
