Only asking cos I'm off on one on Monday and have never travelled this way before.

The only ferry I've ever been on is the little one that takes you from Knott End to Fleetwood.

Will I be able to get a full english on board? :d: Thinking of my tum as usual!

Its fine, which port are you sailing to and from?

Most boats do a full breakfast, I prefer it to the tunnel where you get nothing, and on the boat you can have a walk around and get some sea air.

It's fine, they normally have large restaurants - plenty for a full english! We have travelled Dover Calais quite frequently at ungodly hours of 5am and managed a cooked english quite a bit!

Haven't been on a ferry for years but from what I remember yes they do a full english and other delights. I'm a terrible sea traveller and unless I know that there's not going to be so much as a ripple you won't get me on a ferry, I much prefer the tunnel but obviously there's no full breakfast as no sooner has the journey started, it's over.

I traveled from dover several times (only live 25mins away) and only had one bad crossing (tad choppy on a old works xmas do). You can get a nice range of meals on board.

Watch out for the toilets! When they flush it's really loud. Scared the hell out of me as a kid ;)

The cost of a full english is quite expensive though. I seem to remember for 2 brekkies 2 coffees and some toast didnt see much change from 20 quid.

We love the ferry though. it is part of the holiday. get to Dover early so you can be 1st on board and there for at the front of the queue for brekkie. Sometimes before the boat has finished loading.

Which means you get the full choice of places to sit etc.
