Check out Ghiradelli's - they give you free samples of DELISH chocolate when you browse their choccie shop. Scrummy! Also, spend some time at World of Disney - this shop is simply HUGE and you can waste ages admiring all the Disney decor. Lots of fun!!

downtown is awesome. i spent so much time there when i was there. the virgin megastore is absolutely massive, and i have to admit to spending about half my holiday just in there.

I would agree that planet hollywood is at best very average dining. With so much choice in the area PH is best left out the picture I reckon

There's something for all ages at DownTown Disney, you can't leave it off your list of places to visit. There's an Interactive Theme Park called DisneyQuest which our boys absolutely love.

Downtown Disney is great, there are loads of shops of all kinds and you can even hire boats out and take them on the lagoon/lake area

DTD is great and IMHO better than City Walk.Loads to see and do and a great atmosphere! You'll all love it.
We go at least 5 or 6 times on each holiday. If we're bored in the evenings we'll just pop down and sit with a drink and do some people watching ( not to mention shopping)!!!

We go to DTD a lot during our holiday. Like browsing round the shops, having a meal or watching the world go by. Disney quest is great fun and there is a cinema to catch the latest movie. I think its got loads more to offer than city walk.:)

It's great for a stroll in the evening to walk your dinner off! Then have a dessert from Ghiradelli's to get the calorie count back up :tounge:

Its a great place however dont stay longer than 1030pm thats whe the kids who should have been in bed at 7pm start crying and getting in everyones way, combine that with the citywalk crowd i would say you still feel safe at 11pm unlike i-drive, but its very busy. oh and go in an out of the ghiradelli shop to get loads of samples lol

down town disney is great. House of Blues is good for a meal and they nearly always have entertainment on outside.
