Beach

Hi

Going to Florida on 29th December!!!! Cannot wait. There are two couples going. The other couple love the beach so we were hoping to go to Cocoa and Daytona for daytrips. Just wondered whether the weather will be beach weather or should we just spend our time concertrating on the parks and shops!!

From what Ive read (cos we are going 30th December) the weather can be quite varied. I'd wait and see what the weathers like when you are there and if you get a nice day and you can be a little flexible with what you are doing on what days go for it and head to the beach.

hi,last boxing day we was on coco beach
the weather was very warm
we got a good tan over there for only a week
we was expecting it to be alot colder

Been in Dec a few times...usually relaitvely warm during the day but gets pretty chilly in the evenings....best bet as stated is to see what weather you are getting then if its good head off to a beach....

I agree totally with the weather being varied. We went to WDW in January and some days were slightly chilly (espcially at night when it was freezing), but some days were really hot. We were able to go to 2 waterparks, DC and in the swimming pool on some days. I say just be flexible with your beach days and choose the days that are warmer.

Last December was quite cool, but it usually is warm enough for the beach.
If you're wanting to go in the water, I'd head for the Gulf Coast in December.
