We're thinking of visiting Cocoa beach during our trip next year. My husband has quite a few hotel points to use up and we're thinking of using them to stay for one night at the Crowne Plaza.

What are your views on doing this?

My one concern is whether our things will be safe left unattended for one night at the villa we're renting in Kissimmee. We would take our passports and money with us 'just encase'.

Your thoughts would be gratefully appreciated.

Many thanks

I think that's a good idea and one I would use if I had hotel points. It will give you a great opportunity to explore that side of Florida without having to travel back to Kissimmee. Perhaps you could do the beach one day and KSC the day after?

I am sure your stuff will be fine at the villa.

PS i love Cocoa Beach!

Thanks Wendy.

We have planned to go to KSC again as we loved it there this year so we'll definately do the beach and KSC on separate days. :wavey:

Cant help with cocoa beach but we are using our crowne plaza points for a 1 night stay in New Tampa when we go to busch gardens, and i feel that our stuff will be ok left in our apartment safe. And if it gets nicked it will only be TCs and passports so just hassle getting them replaced but not the end of the world.
Do it and enjoy the change.
