Hello! Im over in Florida at the moment, having a total blast! My first time here and as I was told by many definately wont be my last!
Anyway (I hope this is the right place to post) I just wanted to say to all those who said DC was good, thank you, we did go :omg: at the price when booking. Both Andy and I went yesterday and had one of the best days of our lifes, we totally loved it all. Such a fantastic day from breakfast thru til teatime, We even hand feed the stingray!! swimming in the lazy river, snorkling with the fish and Swimming with Roxy the dolphin was a total climax to the day, We were totally spoilt when it comes to meal times with a good spread of continal Breakie and lunches were lovely unlimited snacks and drinks from the bar areas. Well worth the pennies saved up for the day!
I thought I would post so that any newbies would have some feedback and maybe help then decide whether it was a day for them or not!!

Thanks so much for your feedback. We have just decided that it is worth stretching the purse strings that little bit more so we can experience a day at DC. Can I just ask one question - when you book, do you get your slot with the dolphin allocated or is that given to you on the day?

Great to hear you had a good day.
I'm doing DC for the 2nd time on 4th NOvember :)

You are allocated on the day and usually according to the time you arrive - the earlier you get there, the earlier your swim. Can be a pain getting a very early swim though, I for one would not like to be straight there and in within an hour:(
I believe that you can ring the day before and request a particular time, but they may require a reason for this?

Exactly, I don't really want to be swimming before I have had the chance to find my bearings and relax in the atmosphere..... late morning or mid afternoon would be my preference - but I guess a lot of folks may think that too!!! Ah well, we'll see! :)

You should be OK when you go, some people want an early swim as at certain parts of the year, the storms move in in the afternoon and swims are cancelled! They do let you come back to do one if yours does get cancelled, but if it's late in your holiday you may not have the time?

It really is such a great place, Idylic and tranquil. My kids loved it last September, so we have to do it again next year, mind you i am not complaining. With drinks and meals all included that should be much better i know they have increased the price but we spent a small fortune on snacks ect.

Dont be put off! Have a to agree the picture prices are expensive we went with a CD and got 5 pictures of us and 30 pics from around the park for $100 About £60. We also got a complimentary photo of us as we came into the park which was very nice to be given.
I think given the money you spend you are looked after in a excellent way. I have to say thou I may think twice if there was myself, OH and numerous offspring to budget for.
Fantastic
I will be at Discovery cove 2 weeks tomorrow - we are all so looking forward to it!:spin:
Its horrid expensive and we took some convincing from friends that had just been but hey - we could all be dead next year!:pgig:
Cheers
