Hi, sorry, but was looking at things to do in the Keys and found this. Its a 2 hour cruise on a catamaran at sunset with drinks and was just wondering if anyone has done one? It seems the perfect way to end a day before an evening meal.

We did a sunset cruise on The America from Key west. This is a reproduction of the ship that started the whole America's Cup thing. The night we went it was cloudy so never saw the sunset, however the ship was amazing, we had full sail up and as it was blowing a bit, it went like the clappers!!!
There are lots of boats that do a sunset cruise so I would advise you wait till you get there and pick the one you fancy. Also you can keep an eye on the weather forecast and try to get a clear evening.

The Keys are gorgeous im sure you will have a brilliant time whatever you do.
Hi Mel, Kim and I did this last year in September and it was a lovely trip, Its about thirty minutes out to the reef, approx one hour drifting on the reef spotting fish through the glass bottom, then a thirty minute cruise back into the sunset, Dont get too excited about the champagne bit, as it only really amounts to a glass of bubbly and some nibbles, But the trip is well worth it.
This was our vessel for the evening.

The sun sets as we return to shore.

Cruising in to dock past the huge Ocean liners.

It seems the perfect way to end a day before an evening meal. We did and it's worth every penny, you also get to go over the reefs and view the tropical fish from a glass bottom viewing area, a perfect way to end the day and toast the sunset, I can recommend it highly.:cool2:
