We just got home this week after an absolutely fantastic time, we were blown away by everything Disney & had a great time at Universal/IOA too. :grin:
One little niggle has to be about Wishes/Hallowishes. We had tickets for the MNSSHP where we had a great night and the fireworks were fantastic. :thumbs-up
I had made an ADR at O'Hana's for a later date thinking we would have a good view to watch Wishes. That night we watched Sectro, then took the monorail to O'Hanas. I was really disappointed. I had thought there would be an outdoor viewing area, we had a reasonable table, although not right at the window but even there the fireworks seem quite far away and of course you do not get the same sounds/atmophere. :(
We decided to cancel our ADR at Boma 2 days later and go back to MK to see Wishes properly. Found a good spot and waited for it to start.........no Wishes, but Hallowishes again. :erm:
Yes we did enjoy it again and I videoed it this time, but why no Wishes?? I was under the impression that Hallowishes was for ticket holders/party nights only
I heard other people saying the same thing...is there no Wishes on during October?

Hiya,

glad you had a good time. In October when Magic Kingdom have MNNSHP they close park to general public early to have the haloween party so no wishes on these nights and they only show haloween wishes on these nights (not every day in October is a MNSSHP).

When we went the 2nd time it was not a MNSSHP night and therefore expected to see Wishes. The park was open to all which was why I was surprised to see Hallowishes again

we are going next oct and are hoping to see wishes on the non-mnsshp nights so I know what you mean if you werent expecting hallowishes....hopefully others that have had the same experience can shed some light on this.
